Ferguson woman charged in beating of MetroLink security guard after video was posted to Facebook

ST. LOUIS COUNTY • A woman who attacked a MetroLink security officer on Monday morning has been charged with third-degree assault, police say. 
Ronisha Pampkin, 22, attacked a security guard who was inspecting tickets at the North Hanley MetroLink platform at about 7 a.m. Monday, police said. The stop is at 4300 North Hanley Road in unincorporated St. Louis County.
The attack was filmed by a bystander and posted on social media. St. Louis County police officers were able to identify Pampkin, and arrested her Tuesday.

She was charged Wednesday. Bail was set at $10,000, cash-only.
Pampkin lives in the 100 block of Forestwood Drive in Ferguson, police said.
